Peking, February 5, 1911.

Following is repetition of telegram from His Majesty's consul-general at Yunnan-fu of yesterday's date:--

"General Tsui left on the 1st instant for Chusiung-fu, and it is said that the Viceroy is about to start for Tali, whence I hear two battalions of troops have left for the west. I understand troops are also to be dispatched from Yunnan-fu in the same direction.

"1 will do what I can to obtain verification of the above information."
